Accounting - Associate of Applied Science
The Accounting AAS program teaches how to use accounting software, as well as analyze, record, and interpret accounting information based upon industry guidelines. You’ll also learn how to use accounting information (financial and non-financial) to make decisions as business leaders do. Course content includes the application of accounting principles, payroll processing procedures, financial statement preparation, and tax preparation according to federal and state regulations. Graduates can enter the field as a full-charge bookkeeper or payroll professional.

Accounting - Bachelor of Science (BSA) (4 specializations)

BSA/Auditing-Forensic Accountancy: Learn to detect, recognize, and prevent specific types of fraud committed against organizations and individuals. Combine your accounting and finance skills with law and investigative techniques, to judge whether or not an activity is illegal. Work with law enforcement or lawyers, serving as expert witnesses during trials.
BSA/Government-Nonprofit Accountancy: Study the accounting principles and financial reporting techniques for state and local governments as well as the regulations involved in the Yellow Book. Examine the unique characteristics of accounting and financial reporting for both the governmental and nonprofit sectors of the U.S. economy.
BSA/Managerial Accountancy: Management accountants (also called cost, managerial, industrial, corporate, or private accountants) record and analyze financial information. This process includes strategic planning and budgeting, performance evaluation, and both cost and asset management. Management accountants are also responsible for financial report preparation, financial analyses, cost accounting, and more.
BSA/Public Accountancy: Learn to handle auditing, tax, and consulting for corporations, governments, nonprofit organizations, or individuals. Emphasis topics include comparisons with financial accounting, basic cost accounting terminology and principles, cost classification, manufacturing of inventories, and more.

The program focuses on operations management, logistics, risk management, disaster recovery, and information systems.
