Computer Information Systems / Database Programming - Associate of Science
Students in the A.S. Computer and Information Science program learn about subjects such as creating interesting web pages, writing different kinds of programs, using and maintaining databases, and installing and securing computer networks. They learn to provide excellent customer service when assisting customers and clients with technical issues.

Business Administration / IT Management - Bachelor of Science
Students enrolled in the Business Administration degree program learn how to be business leaders and owners. They learn how managers make decisions and solve problems in a wide range of business environments. They learn about international business and economies. Students learn to write business plans and reports to support decision-making and management of a business. They learn to work in teams and demonstrate professionalism and ethics. They also learn to communicate about, and collaborate on, business projects in culturally diverse work environments. Students in this program complete two "externships" and a capstone project that give them a practical understanding of business concepts.
Students in the IT Management concentration area will learn how IT projects are properly managed. The IT Management program field focuses on:
- Classes in information technology management, entrepreneurship, and accounting with an emphasis on international business
- Advanced courses in information technology communication, programming, databases, and networking
- Project based coursework to prepare you for the workplace market - both as manager and as entrepreneur
- Technology optimization for operations and global marketing
- Management of information technology projects
- Workplace experience with externships
- Senior project designed to develop entrepreneurial skills by having you create a business, its technology requirements, and its marketing plan

Bachelor of Science
Students in the B.S. Computer and Information Science program learn about subjects such as project management, designing and writing different kinds of programs, creating interesting web pages, using and maintaining databases, and installing and securing computer networks. They learn to provide excellent customer service when assisting customers and clients with technical issues.
Healthcare IT students combine a strong working knowledge of computer networks and program logic with an understanding of medical office procedures and terminology.
ECPI's Healthcare IT graduates will be prepared to:
- Create and build networks in the Windows and CISCO environments.
- Design and implement security plans to keep patient health information safe and secure from prying eyes.
- Provide IT support to doctors and nurses.
Building upon ECPI's tradition of providing an interactive and "real world" hands-on education in technology, the program will cover the following topics:
- Healthcare technologies, hardware and software
- Computer networking
- Installation and management of security software
- Database design
- Oral and written communication skills
- Monitoring of network and security breaches
- Risk management and disaster recovery
- Installation and configuration of client and server operating systems, network services and security tools
- Health informatics and HIPAA compliance
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR)/Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- HW, SW, and network requirements—design, interpretation, and evaluation
Our Healthcare IT program field prepares graduates to sit for IT certification exams related to CompTIA, Cisco Systems, Microsoft, and HIPAA Compliance.
Courses in the C&IS / Health Information Technology program include:

Students in the Network Security concentration learn about designing, implementing, and administering computer networks. Students learn how to create and build networks in the Windows, CISCO, and UNIX environments...and both design and implement network security plans to keep hackers at bay and the network secure.
Graduate should be able to:
- Maintain network hardware and software.
- Analyze problems and monitor network to ensure its availability to system users.
- Identify customer needs and use that information to design, interpret, and evaluate network requirements
- Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
- Educate users regarding computer security.
- Install security software.
- Monitor network for security breaches.
This program focuses on many skill areas including:
