The Graduate Intern Teaching Certificate program is designed exclusively for Pennsylvania residents who hold a Bachelor's degree and who seek to qualify for the Pennsylvania Instructional I Certificate in order to teach at the elementary or secondary level. Completion of one of the online core courses and the field experience (student teaching) leads to a temporary Intern Teacher Certificate issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) - Certificate
The Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Certificate program is an add-on certificate available to students that currently possess a K-12 teaching certificate and want to become instructors of English as a Second Language. Credits earned through this program may be applied toward the MS in the Science of Instruction.
