Seeking a GIS Manager in the Engineering Department of the pipeline and storage segment of a diversified energy company.
Job Responsibilities:
·Overseeing GIS mapping and analysis in support of engineering services, field operations and pipeline integrity management programs
·Providing technical solutions, mentoring and support for GIS staff and users within the company
·Managing the transmission pipeline GIS mapping group, organizing GIS resources and developing data standards
·Acting as a liaison with the Information Services, Field Operations and Engineering Services departments
Job Requirements
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field and a minimum of three years related experience. A strong working knowledge of the ArcGIS software suite is required. Exceptional leadership and communication skills and strong attention to detail are required. The successful candidate must possess a demonstrated understanding of geospatial datasets, data standards, metadata standards and the design, creation and maintenance of relational databases. Knowledge of or experience with ArcSDE and RDMS, ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model, ArcObjects, GPS technology or CAD is desirable.
