Computer Information Systems - Bachelor of Science

Graduates of the Information Systems Security program in the School of Information Technology at ITT Tech will have a credential that can help them pursue career opportunities in a variety of entry-level positions involving information systems security, some of which may include: security professionals as part of software development and information technology infrastructure teams; security technicians working with Internet service providers, application service providers and systems integrators; and security auditors. Information Systems Administration - Associate of Applied Science
The purpose of the Associate of Applied Science - Information Systems Administration program is to help students prepare for entry-level positions in network systems administration related professions. Information Technology - Associate of Arts
The Associate of Arts in Information Technology concentration focuses on project management, the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), networking, Internet concepts and design, programming fundamentals, as well as the Java programming language. Courses build upon the fundamentals of computer and networking design to give students a solid foundation to understand basic programming concepts. Organizational Leadership/Information Systems and Technolgy - Doctor of Management
The mission of the Information Systems and Technology specialization of the Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership degree (DM/IST) is to enable professionals from any industry to understand and evaluate the scope and impact of information systems and technology (IST) from organizational, industry-wide, and global perspectives. The DM/IST curriculum lays a foundation of knowledge in critical thinking, leadership, and the application of IST content areas. Learners integrate this knowledge with their professional experiences and doctoral-level research to create innovative, positive, and practical contributions to the body of IST knowledge. Computer Information Systems - Associate of Applied Science
The CIS program prepares students with the general education, applied knowledge, and technical skills required for a wide range of entry-level positions. Students will gain the skills necessary to install and maintain computer and wireless networks, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, create Java applications, manage databases, and develop Web pages. The Information Systems Security program is designed to provide students with advanced security skills required to implement e-business solution security policies, identify security threats, develop countermeasures using firewall systems and attack recognition technologies, and manage the deployment of security solutions.
